Since 1992, the Centre for Women in Business has been Atlantic Canada's leading resource for women entrepreneurs. It is located at Mount Saint Vincent University (MSVU) and is a not-for-profit University Business Development Centre (UBDC) supported by Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA) and MSVU. It is Canada's only university-based business development centre exclusively for women; over the past two decades, staff have served thousands of clients through professional training, and the development of business start-up and expansion plans. Specific services include business advisories, workshops, online training, business networking events and trade missions.
