This report details a research scan conducted by The Nonprofit Institute at Portland State University. It includes a comprehensive list of relevant research reports published by reputable sources on the topics of board governance, contracting, leadership, philanthropy, volunteerism and other general and specialized nonprofit topics at the state, regional, and national levels. This information was compiled in an effort to understand the state of research in this field as well as potentially illuminate opportunities for future research projects.
