June 11, 2019

Gifts-in-kind (GIK) are noncash donations made to a charity. Common examples of GIK are food, clothing, prescription drugs, equipment, and medical supplies. Certain types of charities, such as thrift stores and international relief organizations, may receive significant amounts of GIK.
