Royal Columbian Hospital Foundation Champions of Philanthropy: Jackie Askew

For seven years, Jackie Askew managed Royal Columbian Hospital’s Emergency Department – among the busiest in the province and the entry point for some of the most seriously ill and injured patients in BC. Despite the busy and intense nature of emergency medicine, Jackie has consistently been welcoming to the Foundation and its donors. She has led numerous donor tours and has effectively helped identify the department’s needs. Jackie is clearly highly regarded by the team in the emergency department and will have valuable insight to pass along in her new role with the hospital’s redevelopment team.
