Worcester Together fund donates $400K to area nonprofits, nears $4M mark

The Worcester Together fund, a COVID-19 relief fund established by the Greater Worcester Community Foundation and the United Way of Central Massachusetts in collaboration with the city of Worcester, has given $400,000 in grants to area nonprofit organizations that work with communities that are disproportionately affected by the COVID-19 pandemic in Worcester County. The grants are for nonprofits that are helping to meet the immediate needs of individuals during the crisis, such as food, shelter and child care for essential workers.
