TD Charitable Foundation supports Penquis with donation

The TD Charitable Foundation, the charitable giving arm of TD Bank, America’s Most Convenient Bank, recently donated $10,000 to Penquis as part of the foundation’s commitment to enriching the community. Penquis is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping Maine individuals and families be safe, healthy, connected and financially secure. The funds from the TD Charitable Foundation will be used to address home health and safety concerns for homeowners who are 60 years and older in Penobscot County. “Maine’s housing stock is among the oldest in the nation,” said Penquis CEO Kara Hay. “Many older adult homeowners are at risk of illness or injury due to the need for home repair or modification. TD Charitable Foundation has long been a champion for safe, affordable housing, and we could not be more pleased to have their support.”
