Share Omaha connects nonprofits and volunteers through social media

There are more than 200 nonprofit organizations across the metro and many face the same challenge - too big a need, not enough resources. HELP, a nonprofit organization specializing in medical device rental, relies on donations from the community. "We are able to to help nearly 7,000 people a year and save people an estimated $100,000 a month and we couldn't do that without the help from the community," HELP Executive Director Tom Neal said. Thursday, Share Omaha officially launched it's website giving nonprofits the opportunity to connect with more people and voice exactly what they need.
