On March 13, 2023, Old National Bank launched its Choose Your Charity campaign, giving participating communities a chance to support local nonprofits. Starting on March 13, 2023, voters in Illinois, Northwest Indiana, Iowa, and Southeast Wisconsin will be able to choose a 501(c)(3) organization to receive a portion of the bank's $500,000 of available funds.
To participate, voters can visit the Old National Bank website and select the nonprofit they would like to support. They can vote once every 24 hours until the competition ends on March 31. It is worth noting that voters do not need to be in any business partnership with Old National Bank to participate in the contest.
The nonprofits with the highest number of votes from each banking center will receive $5,000 to support their community service. At the same time, the overall winner will be awarded an additional $10,000, for a total of $15,000. This money will enable the nonprofit to continue making a positive impact in its local community.
Jim Ryan, the Chief Executive Officer at Old National Bank, shared, "This campaign is a great example of our 'better together' philosophy." He added, "We are thrilled to support local nonprofits in their important work, while also empowering our community members to tell us who most needs our support."
