Nonprofit View: Partnership seeks collaboration toward shared health goals

When you hear the word "partnership," it may bring to mind the image of two people shaking hands over a business deal. But The Partnership for a Healthier Carroll County has more than 125 partner organizations and individuals working together to promote healthy lifestyles and improve the health of our county's residents. The Partnership was chartered in 1999 as a unique not-for-profit organization devoted to building capacity to improve health and quality of life in our community.
