MB2 Dental Launches Charitable Organization

The dental partnership organization, MB2 Dental, has launched its own charitable Foundation – The MB2 Family Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit with a mission to provide financial assistance to its 5,000 plus employees in the event they experience unforeseen, life-altering hardships such as natural disasters, extended illnesses, injuries, and more. Team members may nominate themselves or others for consideration for a monetary donation.

The work of the Foundation will also include providing donations to local charities and organizations at the request of MB2 Dental's doctor partners and employees.

The Foundation thrives through the generosity of its team members. Funding for the Foundation will come from MB2 Dental's doctor partners and team members through optional paycheck deductions and other fundraising events.

The individuals who make up our MB2 family have always been ready to jump into action and help one another without hesitation. The Foundation allows us to streamline this."

MB2 Dental's previous charitable initiatives include annual doctor-led mission trips and donating to local organizations such as the North Texas Food Bank, The Genesis Women's Shelter, and Salvation Army. MB2 Dental also annually conducts The Elves Initiative, a cause led by Dr. Villanueva encouraging MB2 Dental home office employees to nominate coworkers, family, friends, and neighbors for financial assistance around the holidays. The success and growth of the Elves Initiative served as inspiration for the MB2 Family Foundation.

Honda and the Honda USA Foundation's Annual Charitable Funding Cycle Launches Today

Honda and the Honda USA Foundation today announced the opening of its annual funding cycle for eligible nonprofit organizations and schools based on the company's long-standing commitment to give back to the communities where its associates live and work. Applications for funding will be accepted now through the deadline of October 31, 2022, with awards to be announced in spring 2023. Honda and the Honda USA Foundation provide funding to national and local organizations that provide support to communities located near Honda operations and align with the company's five strategic CSR pillars of Education, Environment, Mobility, Traffic Safety and Community. Funding is available through both corporate and the company's Foundation. Funding opportunities from Honda will be available in all five pillars, with a renewed focus on support for STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) in the Education pillar. Funding available through the Honda USA Foundation will continue to support three of those pillars: Environment, Mobility and Traffic Safety. TIAA announces partnership with Girls in Tech to empower women in technology

GENESIS GIVES DONATES $45,000 TO LOCAL NONPROFITS IN SAVANNAH TO STRENGTHEN ITS COMMITMENT TO GEORGIA

Genesis Gives, the corporate social responsibility initiative of Genesis Motor America that supports improving access to and performance in youth sports and STEAM education, recently donated a total of $45,000 to several nonprofit organizations in Savannah, Georgia. The Savannah College of Art and Design received $15,000, Girls on the Run of Coastal Georgia and the Lowcountry received $15,000, and Savannah United received $15,000. Ceremonial checks were presented to the organizations in Savannah, Georgia. The support we have received from Hyundai has allowed us to dramatically expand our program in Bryan County by providing scholarships, transportation, and running attire to local girls who would otherwise not have access to the program. We are abundantly thankful for this opportunity, said Tiffany Collins, executive director, Girls on the Run of Coastal Georgia and the Lowcountry. Savannah United offers youth soccer programs to over 2,000 children per year, half of which enter an advanced team that travels and competes nationally. It hosts leagues, camps, tournaments, and events with charitable causes, all with the hope to promote self-esteem and character building in children, many of whom come from underserved communities in Bryan County. This donation will be used for scholarships to allow more children to participate in youth soccer programs including a micro program that expands the age range to as early as three years old. The Genesis donation is going to be a tremendous help for Savannah United and its scholarship fund, said Gary Wright, executive director, Savannah United.
