$10K grant targets Arizona nonprofits focusing on youth

Nonprofits who focus on k-12 youth and education programs will have a chance to be awarded up to $10,000 thanks to a grant from Cox Charities. Cox Charities has funded local nonprofits that focus on science and technology, overcoming disabilities and several other areas that help shape Arizona’s next generation’s future. Cox Charities dispersed about $544,000 in 2018 to more than 100 youth and education-based nonprofits throughout the state. “Cox Charities is committed to supporting children in our state by funding youth and education-focused nonprofits that provide vital programming,” said Lisa Lovallo, southern Arizona market vice president for Cox Communications. Cox encourages their employees to spend time volunteering in support of several past recipients such as the Boys and Girls Clubs and Make-a-Wish Arizona.
