Annual NH Gives campaign to benefit local nonprofits going on now

The annual NH Gives campaign is underway now. Through Wednesday at 6 p.m., Granite Staters are encouraged to donate to nonprofit organizations throughout the state. The 24-hour online giving event is an effort to raise as much money as possible. More than 300 nonprofits participate Now in its fourth year, NH Gives has raised over $1 million. “You can look up an organization that's focused on the arts or the environment, and then it will show you there are organizations in Concord or Meredith, so you can search for organizations and causes you really care about and make a difference,” said Kathleen Readon, chief executive officer of the New Hampshire Center for Nonprofits.
