We must find the time to stop and thank the people who make a difference in our lives. Volunteers are 66% more likely to donate financially to the organizations they volunteer for. There are 62.6 million volunteers giving their time to nonprofit organizations. Volunteers spend an average of 50 hours per year donating their time.
