United Way campaign $700K short of fundraising goal
United Way | January 21, 2020
An annual campaign that keeps local programs alive in our area wraps up next week, but funding goals are falling short. Each year, the Great Rivers United Way campaign funds more than 20 non-profits across 7 nearby counties. These non-profits fight for the health, education, and financial stability of the people who live in our area. The organization is asking for a record $2.5 million in donations for 2020, but is more than $700,000 short right now. United Way leaders say this shortfall could have big impact on our community.
