Rochester Lions Club gives $32,325 to area nonprofits
The Rochester Morning Pride Lions Club raised $32,325 at the end of 2018 through its annual Christmas tree sale and distributed the money to several Rochester area nonprofit groups. Donations from the fundraiser were awarded to: Link, Recovery is Happening, Ronald McDonald House, Cy’s Place, Leader Dog, Channel One, Eagles Cancer Telethon, Elder Network, Hope Lodge, VOSH, Gift of Life House, Join the Journey, Lupus Rheumatology Research, PossAbilities, Running Start, Friendship Wagon Train, Mobility Worldwide Minnesota, Crisis Nursery, Community Food Response, Can Do Canines, Project New Hope, Special Olympics, Father’s Project, ABC, Preston Vets Home, Boys/Girls Club, Bear Creek Services, LCIF, MDSM Hearing Foundation, Minnesota Lions Diabetes Association, Lions Vision Foundation, Emergency Relief, Youth Exchange, Student Eyeglasses and the Childhood Cancer and Women’s Shelter.
