LOFT Launches Campaign for Customers to Directly Support Local Schools

Today, LOFT is launching their annual campaign, LOFT Loves Teachers, in partnership with DonorsChoose, an education nonprofit empowering U.S. public school teachers through supplies for their classrooms. LOFT customers can help classrooms in their own communities through several ways this back-to-school season.

From July 13 to August 20, LOFT customers online and instore can donate directly to support DonorsChoose, funding projects submitted by teachers within 20 miles of their local communities.

Through August 31, LOFT customers can also support classrooms by purchasing from the limited-edition LOFT Loves Teachers Collection. LOFT will donate 40% of the product purchase price from the collection up to $100K.

“LOFT is proud to have raised more than $2.5 million to fund projects for teachers and schools in our local communities through the generosity of our loyal customers and engaged associates,” says Lexy Onofrio, Senior Vice President of Brand & Creative Marketing at LOFT. “As we kick off year three of our partnership with DonorsChoose, we look forward to expanding our support for teachers by providing even more ways to donate through the sale of our limited-edition tumblers and pencil sets that give back to the organization."

During the LOFT Loves Teachers campaign, LOFT’s year-round 15% off discount will be combinable with all other discounts for teachers (with a valid ID) to help them refresh their classroom wardrobe and feel their best going back to school.

In 2021, LOFT launched its first major point-of-sale campaign with DonorsChoose that engaged customers in supporting public school teachers. This year marks the brand’s third DonorsChoose partnership of its kind, continuing LOFT’s mission of giving back to its local communities.

“LOFT’s campaign with DonorsChoose sends a clear message of support to U.S. public school teachers, especially as they prepare for the Back-to-School season,” said Alix Guerrier, CEO of DonorsChoose. “Through this partnership, LOFT is helping customers connect with their communities in a meaningful way, by helping teachers get extra resources for their classrooms.”
