YMCA of Greater Toronto

ymcagta.org

The YMCA of Greater Toronto is a charity tackling the most critical social health issues in the GTA. For more than 160 years, we have offered children, teens, young adults and families the opportunity for personal growth, community involvement, and leadership. Along with the support of donors and community partners, we rely on the generous support of more than 6,000 volunteers along with over 4,000 full- and part-time employees to deliver diverse and inclusive programs that build healthy communities. The YMCA works to improve the well-being of individuals by focusing on the social, economic, environmental, and cultural factors that affect their long-term health and by promoting and supporting current health and well-being. Through child care services, education and training programs, employment and immigrant services, family and youth services and health and fitness programs, the YMCA is building healthy communities across the GTA.
