CAPTRUST Community Foundation | January 13, 2022
The CAPTRUST Community Foundation (CCF), a CAPTRUST employee-run organization, announced a record annual donation of $1,054,000 to 176 nonprofits in 2021, and it raised an additional $630,000. The CCF also unveiled its new board members, once again led by Philip D'Unger, who will continue to serve as the organization's president in 2022. The CCF provides grants to charitable organizations across the country that serve the mission of enriching the lives of children in need....

Skiers and snowboarders in Maine raised more than $500,000 for a nonprofit group that works to help children enjoy more winter activities. Organizers said the WinterKids Downhill 24 collected the most revenue in its history at $562,000. The event took place in early March. This year's event attracted 4,000 donors, 49 teams and 491 participants, organizers said. The event is the only annual event that brings night skiing to Sugarloaf Mountain, organizers said....

maurices announces the launch of their "Feel-Good" Clothing Donation Drive event, which will run March 15 through March 22, in approximately 900 of its store locations across the U.S. and Canada. Customers are invited to bring in new or gently used women's clothing such as tops, dresses, pants, and jeans to a maurices store. The clothing will be donated to a local nonprofit that directly benefits women in each store's community....
