Laguna Canyon Foundation is a donor-supported nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving, protecting, enhancing and promoting Laguna Coast Wilderness Park and surrounding open space. We train and schedule volunteers, plan guided hikes and other public activities, develop educational field trips and programs for students of all ages, fund improvements such as interpretive signs and trails, support capital projects such as the Nix Nature Center, sponsor wilderness restoration projects and much more. We are pushing 20 (years) and the South Coast Wilderness is pushing 20,000 (acres)! That makes it the second largest wilderness area in Southern California.
