Keep a Child Alive

keepachildalive.org

Co-founded by Alicia Keys and long-time activist Leigh Blake, Keep a Child Alive was born in early 2003 as an emergency push to get life-saving HIV medications to impoverished African families, who otherwise would not have had access to treatment. 13 years later, we continue to fight HIV and AIDS on the frontlines, partnering with grass-roots organizations to develop community-led initiatives to prevent new HIV infections, fight barriers to treatment and end discrimination.
