The first Brook service was established in 1964 by Helen Brook to provide contraception and advice to unmarried women. Today we are the only charity that specialises in working with young people to promote their sexual health in the wider context of health and wellbeing. Through our clinical services, counselling, sex & relationships education in schools, training for professionals and lobbying work, Brook is committed to ensuring that all young people are equipped with the skills and information they need to make positive and healthy lifestyle choices and to improve their sexual health and wellbeing.
