Board Management Software Boardable Raises $8 Million for Nonprofits

Indianapolis-based Boardable, a supplier of board management programming devices for nonprofits, has brought $8 million up in another round of financing, the organization said.

The venture came from Base10 Partners with interest from the organization's seed-stage sponsor, the Indianapolis-based undertaking speculation firm High Alpha.

Boardable gives authoritative apparatuses to help nonprofits better deal with their board gatherings and offers management answers for charitable tasks.

Programming and administrations designers taking into account the not-for-profit area are considering more to be from financial specialists as they search for new verticals that have been underserved by innovation organizations previously. Recently, Resilia, a New Orleans-based startup, raised $8 million for its own turn on administrations for nonprofits and noble cause associations.

In an articulation, Boardable said that it would utilize the financing to develop its group and grow new apparatuses to turn out to be all the more an all in one resource for philanthropic tasks.

“Most nonprofits manage their board members with ‘digital duct tape’—endless email threads and file sharing services. It’s a terrible experience that drains the board members and staff. Boardable is purpose-built by nonprofit founders to solve this problem, increasing efficiency and engagement,” said Jeb Banner, Boardable’s chief executive, in a statement.

Associations including the YMCA, The Salvation Army, Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, the Girl Scouts of Indiana and more have gone to the organization to utilize its paperless methodology for board management.
